Mission Statement
Houston for Palestinian Liberation (HPL) is a collective based in Houston, Texas, that recognizes we do not have to be complicit in the military occupation being perpetuated by our government. HPL aims to reclaim and disrupt public and civic spaces until the voice of the people is recognized and echoed in the actions of the government. We recognize that the struggle of all occupied people is interlinked and the antagonist of this struggle is imperialism, white supremacy, and capitalism and we must reject those in all their forms.
We have a growing member base of people from all backgrounds coming together to aid in the struggle for Palestinian liberation. Our collective focuses on advocacy in the Houston area to push for larger changes at the state, federal, and global levels. We collaborate with other organizations and collectives to push for sustained, systemic changes.
